Message of Joe Claussell

Dear Family and Music Lovers.

Since the unfortunate closure of Yellow (Space Lab).
I have made the difficult decision of not coming together
with you. It’s been more than three years that I have not been there in Japan with you as Joaquin Joe Claussell.

I know that many of you were wondering why?

I feel that one of the most important roles of a DJ is to guide you the (music lover/ dancer) to the understanding of not
Just how important music is to our lives, but also how important we all are (you, I everyone) to both the music and to each other.

Without your dancing, singing and energies, we the DJ, I Joe Claussell, as well as the club are nothing!

And if we had done what was expected of us from the beginning, then maybe each and every one of you would realize how important the club culture is to use as humans, resulting in a much more vibrant music scene, even more so than we had in the past.

Because besides family and close friends – it is Music that brings the world closer together!

I am deeply sorry that I failed in delivering such a message to all of you.

I know that most of you miss Yellow ( Space Lab), I do as well.
But we cannot abandon all of the wonderful years that Yellow has given us; in fact now,
We should dance even harder, sing even louder and come together even bigger!!

Because to stop dancing is to defeat all of the greatness that music temples like Yellow
Has given us for many years. To stop dancing is to deprive ourselves of the natural freedoms that belong to us all.
At this moment, there is nothing that is freer than dancing and listening to music.

We must keep on dancing to keeping the music and the spirit alive so that our children’s children - can dance, even more important - understand the importance of earthly rhythms.

With this I ask all of you to join me on my tour called “Resurrections”. There I will commit myself to you, the music and our future.

From our singing and dancing, together we will call upon the rest of the world to join us in a celebration of re-birth and Unity.

We are never too young or too old to listen and dance… Be Your Self!


親愛なるファミリー、そしてミュージックラバーズへ。

僕は（スペースラボ）イエローの残念な閉店以来、
日本の皆とはパーティを行わないという、苦渋の決断をしたんだ。　

Joaquin Joe Claussell として、ここ日本でパーティを開催することがなくなり
3年以上が経過している。

多くの人がそれを何故だろうと案じている事も知っている。

DJの最も大切な役割とは、僕達が生きていく上で音楽はとても重要であるという事を
理解してもらう他に、皆、僕、そして全ての人々の存在が音楽と同様にとても重要だ、
ということも皆（ミュージックラバーズやダンサー）に理解してもらえるように
導く事でもあると感じているんだ。

皆のダンス、歌、そしてエネルギーが無くては、クラブが存在し得ないのと同様に、
僕達やDJ Joe Claussellも存在し得ないんだ！

そして、僕達に元来期待されていたものを僕らが成し遂げたならば、
僕達はクラブカルチャーが、如何に大切なものであるかに気が付くはずだ。
そしてそれは、僕達が過去に成し遂げてきた以上に、活気に満ちたミュージックシーンを
もたらすんだ。

というのも、家族や親しい友人に加えて世界を一つにするのは音楽なんだ！

このメッセージを皆に伝えそびれていたことを深くお詫びするよ。

多くの人達が（スペースラボ）イエローを懐かしんでいることは知っているし、僕もその一人だ。

イエローが僕達に与えてくれた素晴らしい日々を捨て去る事は出来ないけれども、実際のところ、
今、僕達はその当時よりも、もっと踊り、更に大きな声で歌い、更に大きく一体化すべきなんだ！！

踊ることを止める事は、イエローのような音楽の殿堂が僕達に長い間与えてくれた素晴らしいものを
捨て去ること、そして僕達が生まれながらにして持っている自由を僕達の自らの手で剥奪してしまう
ことなんだ。

現時点において、踊る事と音楽を聴くこと以上に自由なものは何も無い。

僕達は、未来永劫に続いていく僕達の孫子達も踊れるように、音楽と活き活きと輝くスピリットを
保ち踊り続けなくてはならないんだ。更に重要なことは、地球から生み出されるリズムに耳を傾け
理解することなんだ。

これらの考えと共に、
僕は皆に“Resurrections”（再生）と名づけたこの僕のツアーに参加して欲しいんだ。

そこで僕は皆、音楽、そして僕達の未来に対して僕自身の全てを捧げるよ。

僕達の歌声とダンスを通じて一緒に僕達以外の他の人達にも、
この再生と結束の祝福へ参加してくれるよう呼びかけよう。

僕達は音楽を聴く事、踊る事に対して若すぎるわけでも年を取りすぎているわけでもない。

自分らしく、ありのままで！
